Janelle Bradshaw Quartet 11/25

Join us for an evening of music with the Janelle Bradshaw Quartet. Featuring Michael George Gonzalez (guitar), Doug Henrie (upright bass), and James Ralls (drums). Paired with an exceptional dining experience at Ferona Bar + Kitchen.

“Improv is an exhilarating and freeing musical experience, but it also feels like jumping off the high dive. There’s plenty of adrenaline, and high hopes that luck and skill combine for a successful performance.”

Janelle Bradshaw is a lifelong trumpet player based in Seneca Falls. After many years performing in classical ensembles and concert bands she was bitten by “the Jazz Bug” in 2012. Thus began her relentless pursuit of improvisational knowledge with planned, and some reckless, performances on stages across the Finger Lakes.

As a jazz artist, Bradshaw has led some events with jazz musicians like Rick Hoyt, Kevin Goodman and Lizzie Lipker. Plus performances with Doc’Sology and regular appearances at jazz jams in the region.

Also an active ensemble player who performs with The Greater Finger Lakes Jazz Orchestra, The Hobart William Smith Community Concert Band, and The Seneca Falls Community Band and Quintet. Janelle has played principal trumpet with the Auburn Chamber Orchestra and Finger Lakes Symphony Orchestra as a substitute player.

In 2021, Bradshaw founded FLX MUSIC 247.com as way to promote musicians and elevate the music scene in our area.

“My mission is to promote a diverse community of people, places, and musical genres for the enjoyment of local residents and visitors- and make it easy to find.”
