Tuesdays on the Terrace: Two Herons Drum Circle

FLIMA is proud to announce our fourth season of Tuesdays On The Terrace. This partnership with Geneva Public Library celebrates regional songwriters, community, and reading. We curate unique performances and events on Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm through the summer months. Hosted by Michael George Gonzalez. Sound support provided by FLIMA.

This is an interactive experience where the audience gets experience playing hand drums with a group. Drums will be provided by Two Herons Drum Circle. Founder, Adam Fryer will be leading the attendees through different basic rhythms. Fun for the whole family.

About the artist… Adam Fryer
Two Herons Drum Circle’s (2HDC) mission is to make all the benefits of community drumming as accessible as possible and use percussion to inspire positive rhythms and actions in our community. We host a number of events ranging from open monthly drum circles, street performances and workshops. It’s a unique interactive musical experiences! 2HDC was founded in July 2013 by Adam Fryer of Geneva NY. Adam got together with a few like-minded musicians who just wanted to jam by beautiful Seneca Lake. The more they played, the more others joined in. The more people, the more fun they had and the closer they became with their community. Two Herons has hosts a monlthy drum circle since our inception. 2HDC trains facilitators and can be booked for facilitated drum workshops and classes, we even provide the drums! 2HDC aims to bring bigger drumming events to our community, such as workshops from Jim Donovan (Former Drummer of Ruster Root), and Traditional African drumming classes with Master drummers.
