FLIMA Beat

New Year, New FLIMA!
Our programs and events depend on community support. These days it feels more and more difficult to reach people on social media. Each time they update the algorithm, our posts get less interaction. We’re pivoting away from social media towards our website, patreon, and direct communication with our supporters. The goal is for more meaningful connection with our community of supporters. FLIMA will still be active on social media but our subscribers will get updates first, plus special member perks.

ABOUT FLIMA:
Finger Lakes Independent Music Arts (FLIMA) was founded in the summer of 2010. Our mission is to create opportunities for musicians to network, collaborate, and mentor. To advocate for musicians’ fair pay, creative freedom, and professional development. And to engage the community through concerts, workshops, and interactive music programs.

WEEKLY MUSIC NIGHTS:
Every Tuesday and Wednesday FLIMA hosts a different community music event from 6-9pm. These vary week to week including themes like open mic night, workshops, sing alongs, drum circles, jam sessions and more. They are open to the public and aim to provide a safe inclusive environment for all ages and abilities.

FLIMA Music Nights are made possible with community support and our partner venues. Each one dedicates physical space, funding, and marketing support to our weekly community music events.

FLIMA Tuesdays 6-9pm
@ Twisted Rail Brewing (499 Exchange St, Geneva, NY)

FLIMA Wednesdays 6-9pm
@ Rio Tomatlan (106 Bemis St, Canandaigua, NY)

Support our programs by attending in person or inviting others to attend. And by making a contribution via Venmo (@flimaflima) PayPal (hub@flima.org) or by joining our Patreon. Visit http://flima.org for more information.
